Missed or Cancelled Appointment Policy

We want to thank you for choosing us as your Optometrist. In order for us to provide you and our other patients with the best care, we ask that you follow our guidelines regarding cancelled/rescheduled appointments. Please keep in mind that we have reserved an appointment time especially for you.

Missed appointments, or appointments not canceled in an appropriate amount of time, are a lost opportunity for us to help another patient. We ask that you make every effort to keep your scheduled appointment and arrive on time. 

We do understand there may be circumstances when you may be unable to keep your appointment due to bad weather, serious emergencies, or serious illness. We ask that you give use 24 hours notice of cancellation/reschedules. This will enable us to offer your cancelled/rescheduled time to other patients that desire to come in for an appointment. It is our policy to charge for missed appointments that are not cancelled and/or rescheduled 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Exceptions will be made for serious emergencies or serious illness. 

*****IT IS THE PATIENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO REMEMBER THEIR APPOINTMENTS. CONFIRMING IS ONLY DONE AS A COURTESY.*****

A charge of $40.00 will be made for patients who do not show for their appointment or do not call 24 hours prior to their appointment time to cancel and/or reschedule This chart will be billed to the patient, is the patients responsibility and must be paid prior to being scheduled again. 

Continuation (2 or more) of missed/rescheduled appointments without 24 hours notice may lead to termination of you as a patient of Veteto Vision Center.
